On Wednesday 10th October it is World Mental Health Day. For the whole of that week we are raising awareness of how food and drink can affect our moods.

There are a range of feelings and moods we gat and it is important that we know what these are for ourselves, children, family, friends and colleagues.

So, what are your foods and moods?

The aim of this website and our ‘Keep An Eye Out’ campaign, is to raise awareness of the daily issues we all face concerning our mental health and what can be done to help overcome them.

There are a range of feelings that come from your mental health:

Stress
Depression
Mood Swings
Tearfulness
Panic Attacks
Irritability
Anger
Sadness
Distant
Anxiety

Don’t hide these feelings, speak to someone and try to overcome them. You’ll feel much better when you do.

Read through the pages on this website to learn more about mental health, how we are all affected by it and what simple actions you can take to manage it and overcome any concerns you may have.

Please note that this website aims to give an insight and help into understanding our mental health. We see a trained Doctor for our physical health so it only makes sense to see a trained Consultant for our mental health. Both are equally important.
